The Path to Inner Peace

Mar 08, 2024

When I take someone through the 2 1/2-day experience of transmutation, teaching them how to use the most powerful tools to accelerate inner growth and healing, there’s one phase that consistently surprises me as the overall favorite.

And that is the moment we go to Sunset Cliff, and they return their “lead” back to our Mother (Pachamama), offering it as a promise to tread more gently upon the world as they open their hearts.

Before they cast the lead into the ocean, they say a prayer.

This prayer is one you can use anytime, with anyone, and it is the pathway to inner peace.

It is called Ho’oponopono.

Before I share the actual prayer, let me explain why this prayer is so powerful.

The Hawaiians knew a great deal about life.

They understood that there is no one outside of us doing anything to us—that our outer life is a reflection of our inner life.

Therefore, what we attract into our lives is our creation. And if we created it, we can change it.

This statement is easy to acknowledge, but much harder to practice.

As it involves taking total responsibility for everyone in our lives (even those who hurt us), and fully accepting life as it is.

This means if we have “problems” with someone else, it is not their fault that we are still suffering. It’s our choice to hold onto that experience or to move on.

We must either practice forgiveness or acceptance.

The healing journey can be summed up as walking the path to complete forgiveness and acceptance.

That’s all it is.

So today, choose someone whom you have yet to forgive and let’s take your power back.

You can do this as a meditation where you visualize them on a stage in front of you.

Then see yourself overflowing with divine healing energy, and send it over to them.

So they are whole, you are whole, and you can both come back into a state of full power.

Then stand right in front of them, and say this prayer:

I’m sorry.”

Please forgive me.”

(Then wait for a response)

Thank you.

I love you.”

Even if it feels impossible to do this with someone who hurt you, this is the way.

It cuts the energetic cord that is sucking your life force and personal power, and redirects it to yourself.

And if you want to practice with someone that’s a little easier, then go outside…

Find a quiet place in nature.

And say the prayer to Mother Earth.

She can use your love more than ever.
