From Being A Perfectionist To BEING Human​​

Meet Paul.

Paul has a MASSIVE heart.

He cares so much about his people that he took on the responsibility to be a perfect leader, in both his family and in his community as a business owner.

As a "perfect" leader, Paul was committed to being the "golden boy" of the family. He started his own business while embodying the image of a "strong leader." (This means he repressed his emotions and always chose productivity over play).

He had the relationship, the career, one hell of a work ethic, and an image of "perfection" to maintain.

Yet, every time he reached a new level of "success," either in a relationship or his business, he found a way to self-sabotage.

Underneath that "perfect leader" image, Paul was driven by a deep need to please his parents and CARED A LOT about the opinions of others.

This led him to repress his emotions, "never too high or low," and avoid conflict at all costs.

Because a "perfect leader is always doing and going, and emotionless in the process."

Maybe you can relate to Paul? 

Do you have perfectionist tendencies? 

The truth is being "perfect" is impossible, and living up to that image sure as hell isn't sustainable.

Luckily, Paul had started the self-work to get a glimpse of the deeper unconscious patterns but was never able to fully connect the dots.

Yet, The Golden Life Experience was the final "damn-buster" to breakthrough.

From Caring Externally To Accepting Internally

The fact that Paul cared so much about others wasn't the problem.

The problem was caring so much about the opinions of others was stealing his energy, authenticity, and happiness.

One of his breakthrough moments was shifting his perspective to embrace his humanity. 

He alchemized his pain of attempting to live as  "the perfectionist" into the gold of accepting (and embracing) the totality of what it means to be human.

In other words, he accepted his "imperfectly perfect humanness."

This unlocked the permission to FEEL and EXPRESS his emotions.

To embrace what it means to FULLY be human. 

To own the fact he is always going to mess up and the more he is open about it, the more he can accept and show up for his loved ones.

After he got home, he realized how relatable this made him to everyone he cared so much about. This opened up an entirely new level of closeness and connection with his family and clients.

He was able to finally experience the deeper connections he craved all along, as his most authentic self.

He also sent this text, proving that you can break your limited beliefs (or imaginary revenue ceilings) AND play more in the process!

(FYI this was the final inspiration to launch a community around the motto of "serving your gifts fully, playing harder, AND enjoying the abundance you intend to experience.")

The real gold was after Paul released his lead he shared with me how he felt (his words, not mine):

"Free. Clear. At peace. In control. Confident. Desiring to move slow and be. 1000% me. Fulfilled."

Aka he soared into the most authentic version of himself!

Why did this happen all for Paul? Because when the universe sent him an opportunity, he had the courage to put his armor down and say yes. He committed AND surrendered fully without knowing what was on the other side.

This is the possibility of letting go of the lead that no longer serves you.

Paul is the "Trailblazer of Love" because he cares so much. 

Unconsciously, that amount of love can be directed in unhealthy ways. BUT when consciously alchemized, that love can return to himself AND authentically be shared with others.

Now he gets to walk around in his power AND spread authentic love into the Universe (which is needed more than ever).

AND he plays more than ever throughout the entire process!

Let this story be a reminder that life will always pull you in different directions.

Yet one of the most powerful decisions is to consciously choose which direction you are headed.

That means you must face the unconscious beliefs, patterns, and actions with an open heart.

By doing so, you bring them to the light.

And that's when you get to set them free.

What mankind (and our planet) needs more than ever is not humans chained to their unconscious ways, but humans brave enough to stand in their light and express themselves fully.
