I love manifestation, but what's even more powerful than manifestation, well, actually knowing the process of creation. But in this case, to look at the process that I went through, it's as simple as head, heart, and hands. It went from me having this vision of what my dream home would look like, and having it down to the specifics, down to an alleyway, down to the garage dim and jacuzzi and cold bath and everything else.
And then what happened? Well, I did this in a state of just love and possibility. And then, I completely forgot that I did that. I completely surrendered it to the universe. This is your invitation to become the alchemist of your life. You decode your heaven on earth and go through the alchemical process.
The alchemist is a master of himself so that he can master life. People thought alchemists were turning lead into gold, but they're really crystallizing their soul into form. Alchemize your golden potential. Welcome to the golden life. Welcome to the golden life. My name is David Gilbert. I'm here to help you become the alchemist of your life.
And we're today, we're going to talk about going from dream jar into manifestation. And this is to really remind you through a story of possibility of the powerful creator that you are. And the opportunity we all have to really own this power and to live as a co creator in the universe. So this is going to be a two part story.
And I'm going to share more about when I actually started off and put my dream into the dream jar in the next episode. But I'm going to fast forward in time to the moment it was a miracle we ended up moving back to San Diego with my wife and my one daughter at the time. And as we did, Long story short, which will be told in the next episode, we had a house in L.
A., we got out, and we had a miracle happen that we could move back to San Diego. And we finally did, and we went from a two story house to a 400 square foot shack that was One block from the beach. So I'm not complaining. And it was the greatest miracle of our life at that time. And we were so excited to be back in San Diego.
So excited to have even just the smallest place with our daughter and start life over again. And as we did, we were hoping to find that next. Dream home to really put our roots in San Diego, but we took our time and After we lived on you know one block from the beach We realized it was time with a little baby and all the stuff that you start to acquire when you have a newborn It was time to get somewhere a little bit bigger so we decided to make a big move and we moved a total of Two blocks down the same road and we were living in that apartment and this entire time we were just hoping, we were just dreaming that the right opportunity would come up for that perfect house that we could just fully lay our roots down in San Diego and have it be solidified.
And I'm going to share the story of how this magical Place came about and teach the manifestation process as I do. So the story of how we ended up living in our dream house really illustrates the manifestation process. And as we were living in this two bedroom apartment, we were just really hoping that something was going to come up and you know what?
One day it did. We found a spot in Ocean Beach that was within our budget range and it ended up being a couple blocks down the road and we went down there. I was so excited to go check it out. My wife was pretty excited, but to be honest, she wasn't. That excited by looking at the pictures. And we get there, we check out this place and I'm like, we can live in this little community of OB and live happily ever thereafter and make it happen.
And my wife took one look at this place and said, Nope. And we're a little bit crushed. Cause this was probably a year or so into the process and we've been holding off. We've been doing our best to stay patient and we thought we're going to have to look in another neighborhood. But this gave us a glimpse of hope that we could find something in the area that we were living in and make our dreams into reality.
Well, the place that I thought had potential needed a lot of work at the time. My wife being the wise woman that she was, uh, said no. So we went back home and we stayed patient and it wasn't until the moment actually that my wife ended up giving up because after that we found another place outside of the little local community that was a beautiful spot and it was really nice for where it was.
And we put an offer in. But the people decided to go with another offer. And they probably thought we weren't as serious, because we looked a little bit younger. Probably then who else put a bid on the place. And there was some contingencies, but they ended up going with it. And at that point, we just both kind of had our heads down.
And my wife, Actually, completely gave up. She was known for checking Zillow almost every single day, just waiting for that perfect opportunity to present itself. And at that point, she was ready to throw in the towel. But my mom came down for the weekend. And she happened to be scrolling Zillow and this place came up, there was only one picture and then underneath the picture and it was just the front of the house and it was this house with the fence and like gray building and couldn't really tell much.
But underneath it said newly remodeled, huge backyard. three car garage, all these really awesome things, and it was actually still within a price range that we could go for and actually put a bid on. But it actually seemed too good to be true. Like, somebody put up one of those spammy ads just to get your attention and maybe it was an actual scam.
I don't know. My wife did not believe it. But, my mom said, hey, this thing, this house is only a couple blocks down, why don't we check it out after we go to dinner? And reluctantly, my wife was like, yeah, okay, fine. And we go to dinner, and we have a great dinner, and we come back, and we drive by this house, we look out the front yard.
Can't really tell much. It looks like the picture, but it was like, Oh, Hey, we've walked by this house. I know those plants in front of the house. Like we watched, we walked by that going on our way to church before. And we decided, Hey, why don't we pull around to the alleyway and see if we could just kind of, you know, without being creepers, just kind of look in the backyard and see what we could see and see if this place is for real and really what it says in the description.
So, we drive over to the alleyway, we start pulling up, we get closer and closer and we're slowing down not to look like weirdos. And we see somebody getting out of his truck and going into the garage. And it was the exact house. And I'm doing my best to drive really slowly but not really like staring at him while I'm totally staring at him.
And we kind of pull a little bit past this truck and my wife's like, stop the car! Stop the car! I'm like, what? She's like, stop the car. So I did. And she gets out. And by this time, the garage door completely closed. And she gets out and just starts knocking on the garage door. And the guy's like, hello? And my wife's like, it's me.
And he's like, okay. And he goes to open the garage door. And my wife's like, do you know your house is for sale? And he's like, yeah. And she starts talking to him. And long story short, he ends up inviting her into the backyard saying, yeah, this is the house. You want to see the backyard? And she's like, yeah, of course I want to see the backyard.
And they start talking. And at this point, she's like, Hey, David, come check this out. And I was like, okay, I can't believe this is happening, but we're going into the backyard. And it turns out, apparently this house is actually for sale. And we go into the backyard and he's telling us about this, you know, beautiful house that we see and that has been passed down three generations.
And they put an offer on another house and they just have to get out now. Uh, cause they took the offer and there was a contingency and we were just in shock, but having this really great conversation. And as we're doing that, he's like, you know, I'd love to take you guys inside, but we just put the baby down.
And we had our daughter at the time, too. So we're like, oh, we get it. Like our daughter's in the car right now with a grandma and she's just hanging out. So like that's just seeing this backyard and knowing this is available is like dream into possibility in of itself. But then, his wife comes out the back door, and she's like, Honey, who are you talking to?
And he shares the story of how she knocked on the garage door, asking him, you know, do you know this place is up for sale? And we all start talking, and she's like, You know what? Why don't you guys just come into the house? And check it out. We just won't go into the baby's room. Well, we do. Turns out the house is remodeled.
It's as good as it says on the post that didn't, that seemed too good to be true. And we even go through the house and we just hit it off so well that she even opened up the baby's room while the baby was sleeping and let us see that room and then took us through a tour throughout the house. And we knew this was the place.
We wanted to put an offer on, but even then it was still within our price range, but they had a photographer booked the next day and they were going to do showings that weekend. But we call up our realtor and we said, Hey, Robert Corello, like this is the place we want to put in an offer. And we get back home.
It almost seemed too good to be true. But we called him up. He said, yeah, okay, I'm busy right now. And Alyssa was like, no, like you got to do this first thing tomorrow. I was like, yeah, yeah, I get it. I'm, I'm at a baseball game with my kids, but I will take care of it tomorrow. I promise. And he's like, no, what, before we do that, why don't we say a little prayer?
And the next day rolls around and we're just, you know, doing our best to stay busy, kind of patiently waiting. And it's not until dinner time that my wife gets a call on her phone and it's Robert. And she kind of looks at all of us and she's like, what do I do? We're like, answer the phone. And she does.
And it turns out that they ended up Uh, just taking our offer, just grace of a miracle and of itself, because if you know how it works to purchase a home, uh, the second that open house comes, you're going to have many bids and you are in California going over a hundred, a hundred, you know, two, 300 K over asking price, if not more in some of the markets.
And it seemed too good to be real. But it happened. But that's not the craziest part of the story. What's even crazier Is that a year or so before that, actually we got the house in September and I looked back and found out it was like in maybe February ish, I would later find a journal that I tucked away after we moved in to our new dream home.
And I was going through this journal reflecting back on the past couple years and I saw this picture. And I can go back in time to that moment in February where my wife, who's a hairdresser, had a client tell her that she had a family member, this specific client, had a family member that had a house in the neighborhood we're looking in and she was getting older and probably going to move out of it in the next couple years.
So what did I do after I got that news? Well, I Google mapped it. I got on Google maps and checked it out and checked out the layout and I drew out a sketch of what my dream home would look like on that piece of property down to the alleyway. Down to, uh, outdoor dining section down to my office, down to the kitchen, to having a jacuzzi and cold bath, to having a garage di gym as well as a granny flat so we could host friends.
And then I even had a two story part with an office on top, uh, so that I could work and see the ocean because I was just. Dreaming straight out of love if I could have the most, you know, beautiful, awesome house possible Like this is what I wanted it to be Well, I found that journal after we moved into the house and it was the same exact layout As the house that we got now I could be a little bit critical and say It doesn't have the two story office But in the next episode i'm going to share the story of how the granny flat came about And how that was another manifestation that came into reality.
So this is to acknowledge the power we all have to become co creators. And hindsight in today's episode, I'll really simplify the process, but in future episodes, I'll really go into the details of understanding the process of creation. Because I love manifestation, but what's even more powerful than manifestation?
Well, actually knowing the process of creation, but in this case to look at the process that I went through, it's as simple as head, heart and hands. It went from me having this vision of what my dream home would look like and having it down to the specifics, down to an alleyway, down to the garage, dim and jacuzzi and cold bath and everything else.
And then what happened? Well, I did this in a state of just love and possibility. And then I completely forgot that I did that. I completely surrendered it to the universe. And that's where hindsight, and as well as so many other stories of possibility that I'll share, I know the universe was looking out for me, but after having that clear vision, after just feeling into that possibility of what it'd be like to have that dream home and living that and sketching it out and then letting it go completely, well, what's the final step?
That is when that door of opportunity arises. You go up and you knock that motherfucker down with your own two hands and you take Action on that opportunity and that was the perfect, you know Illustration of how to go through that with my wife literally knocking it down and the power We all have to create that vision but hindsight That allowed me to have so much more faith in the universe And that is even the whole story.
So stay tuned for the next episode where I'll share everything that led to even living back in San Diego and the miracle that happened there to what happened afterwards of manifesting another vision, another dream. But I really want you to understand that to simplify the process of manifestation, come back to the head, the heart, the hands.
And to share a little bit more, it's about creating a coherent vision within your mind, having clarity around that, using the power of your imagination, and then using your heart to draw that in as if it's already done. Because when you just feel that universe of possibility. That allows you to open up more doors.
And then so many people get stuck in manifestation of just thinking that door is going to appear and open up and that thing's just going to pop out of the door. Well, instead you got to do the opposite. Once that door pops up, you got to knock on that door. You got to kick that door open and you got to jump through to get that final manifestation.
So, I hope this inspires you to go through the process and there is a critical step that's even part of the process of creation to just surrender it to the universe and to let the universe surprise you. So, thank you for following along this journey. I hope it instills possibility into you. And I can't wait to share more magic around this story in the next episode.
